Does WG Split cost anything?

No. WG Split is free and has no ads.

Do I need an account?

No. You create a flat and share the link. That is all.

Who can see my data?

Only people with the invite link. The key to decrypt it is in the link and is never sent to the server. We cannot read your data.

What if someone forwards the link?

Anyone with the link can see and change everything. Share it only with your flat. In the menu you can delete the flat for everyone at any time.

How do I get back in on a new phone?

Open the invite link again. You find it in the app under "Invite flatmates". Keep it in your flat chat.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, in the browser. If you add the page to your home screen, open the invite link once afterwards or paste it on the start page.

Can I log the rent?

Yes, like any other expense. Splitting automatically by room size is not available yet.
